Survivor Voices
Members of the survivor voices subcommittee are survivor leaders within San Diego County.
Each member works within the community, educating and informing the public and policy makers about the dangers of human trafficking, collaborating with the County and local NGO’s working to prevent exploitation, and providing direct services and outreach to exploited members of the community via their own NGO’s. The subcommittee’s focus is to work together to advise members of the council in response and protocol in working with survivors and making sure the survivor’s voice is heard in all matters.
The Survivor Voices Subcommittee meets the 1st Thursday of the month, 11:30 -12:30
Membership is currently open to survivors of human trafficking looking to make a difference in their community.
Co-Chairs: Keelin Washington & Arturo Garcia
